DUSK TO DAWN
Before applying your skincare products in your night routine:
Step 1: Cleanse your face and neck.
Step 2: Pump three pea-sized amounts onto your fingertips, then rub them together.
Step 3: Use pressing motions to start at the neck and work upwards to disperse the product evenly. Rub into the skin from the neck to the hairline, covering the entire face.
Step 4: Press the neck and face for maximum absorption. Use nightly until you achieve your desired glow.

FIRST LIGHT
Step 1: Begin with clean, dry skin.
Step 2: Dispense three pea-sized amounts onto your fingertips or the Sunbrush.
Step 3: Starting at the hairline, blend the serum downward across the face and neck, ensuring even coverage.
Step 4: Use sweeping or pressing motions to work the product into the skin.
Step 5: Wash hands thoroughly after application if applying by hand.

How much product should I apply for best results?
Use three pea-sized drops per product, each time you apply.
Can I use these products every day?
We recommend using the products three times a week. After that, if you’d like more glow, you can apply them more often. Both formulas develop gradually, so there’s little risk of over-tanning.
Do I need a brush for application?
All of our formulas are designed for easy, smooth application with your hands. However, for First Light, we recommend using the Sunbrush, which works perfectly on the face and body to ensure an even glow.
Will these products stain clothing, sheets or towels?
Our plant-based DHA doesn’t stain fabric — it works only by interacting with your skin’s amino acids. However, First Light contains cacao extract, which delivers an immediate warm glow. This tint can transfer slightly, which is why First Light is intended for daytime use only.
What is plant-based DHA and how does it work in self-tanning?
What is it?
Our DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is made in a biorefinery and sourced from renewable natural plant sugars such as sugar beets, sugar cane, and other natural sugar crops.
How does it work?
Think of what happens when you cut an apple in half. After a little while, the surface starts to turn brown. That’s because the natural sugars in the apple react with the air. When applied to your skin, DHA reacts with the amino acids in the top layer just like the apple with air, and gradually develops a natural-looking glow, all without the sun.
